An extremely accessible parklands if driving, with wonderful views from the top of the escarpment looking back towards Brisbane. Several playgrounds with designated disability friendly parking and Cafe with a view open 7 days a week. The same area becomes a restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights. They do weddings and functions also and there are disability friendly toilet facilities both on the lower and upper levels. On the upper level, the room actually is labelled 'Mother's Room' because it also has a folding change table in there. (See images). There are smooth paths, shady picnic tables, lookouts and lovely gardens throughout the park and a drive-through option which leads to another viewing area.  There is also a rotunda near the playground closest to the cafe and this is often used for free entertainment such as bands playing.  There is a second large playground just before you leave the park on Heller Street.  This playground has paths to it and is worth a look, but is not particularly set up for children with disabilities although there is a low climbing wall which might be fun for children to help pull themselves up.

Image Guide:

Two photos of view from the main top lookout area near the Cafe/Restaurant; Disability friendly parking nearby; path to the Cafe/Restaurant from carpark; downstairs disability friendly toilet; upstairs disability friendly toilet.
